VOTRONIC SR Duo Digital Solar Regulator (SEVERAL OPTIONS)

The solar controller works fully automatically and without maintenance and offers the following functions:

On-board battery charging output I, depending on the type of battery (cable or LiFePO4), optionally 3 or 5 charging programs.

Starting Battery Charging Output II: Separate secondary charging output with reduced charging current (12V / 0.8A or 1.5A) to boost charge and maintain the vehicle's starting battery charge with overload protection and long service life.

The charging voltage is peak-free and regulated, thus overcharging of the batteries is excluded.

Two battery charging outputs: automatic charging of the main battery or the plate (I plate). Vehicle starting battery charge and charge retention support (Start II) with overload protection.

Unattended charging: standard protection against battery discharge (if solar power is too low, eg at dusk, at night, etc.), overcharging and overheating.

Buffer operation: Compliance with charging characteristics even when operating with consumers on the battery.

Overcharge Protection: Regulates battery charging current with too much solar power and full battery again, ensures power consumption by immediate recharging to highest possible battery state of charge.

"IU1oU2" charging feature: Defined increase in charging voltage (U1) prevents damaging acid coatings and ensures equalization of individual battery cells, then automatic trickle charging (U2).

Power Filter: Built-in, allows seamless parallel operation of the controller with other charging sources, wind and gasoline generators, mains chargers, alternators, etc. in a battery.

Connection for temperature sensor: automatic adjustment of the charging voltage to the battery temperature. It causes a better full charge of the weaker battery in the cold, in summer temperatures unnecessary gassing of the battery is avoided.

It is strongly recommended if the battery is exposed to strong temperature fluctuations, for example. B. in the engine compartment.

Charge cable compensation: voltage losses in the charge cables are automatically compensated.

Measurement output for EBL (vehicle electroblock): allows the convenient use of the (solar) energy indicator integrated in the electric block to control the solar system.

"AES" switching output (only SR 330-Duo Dig. and SR 530-Duo Dig.): Causes automatic switching of ELECTROLUX / DOMETIC refrigerators with "AES" (Automatic Energy Selector) from gas to a large surplus of solar powered 12V operation.
